Been collecting since I was 8 when I recieved my first set. A Starskey and Hutch figure. Then a few months later my uncle Gregory gave me all of his whole entire mego collection for christmas. I completely destroyed every single one. I cannot believe I did this!
In my late 20s I started to collect Famous Covers after feeling the subpsychological guilt of ruining all those megos. I found out that I did not like Famous Covers because they were hard to customize. So after collecting all I could of the Famous Covers, I abandoned the collection in search of something else.
I met Dr. Mego online and discovered a whole new way to customize through him. I began rebuilding my collection and I have over 50 megos now. I later met a guy named Brian Leitner who has been making a lot of these cool costumes. Brian created a Powergirl and Sinestro outfit for me. Without Brian, I probably would never have these two favs in my collection, or be customizing at all in the first place. |
