| Tomland Creatures From Other Worlds were released circa 1977 which really possess a charm all their own. The line consists of four characters such as Dagon, Yog and Zoth and came on generic cards only. Many of these characters can also be found on Star Raiders cards possible in an attempt to get as much product to retail as possible. We've documented similar cost cutting ways from the Mego Corporations execs as well as was stated by then Mego Corp President Marty Abrams at the recent MegoCon 2004 3-day event that was held over the summer in New York city. A recent discover which included two cases was found in the United Kingdom by the same woman who had been left multiple cases of Lincoln monsters by her grandfather. It appears that lightening does indeed strike twice. Although this supply of carded creatures has long since dried up it did bring a smile to many monster collectors face who were lucky enough to add a few of these classic figures to their collections. |
