| Flash Gordon |

|
The Flash Gordon series is one of my favorite lines. They were produced on nine inch bodies rather than the usual eight inch ones. The bodies are identical to the type two bodies only larger in scale. This body was also used for the Dr. Who figure.
Only 4 figures were produced in this series and all are excellent renditions of the characters with lots of accessories (making them hard to complete loose). |

One playset was made for this line, one that opens up, and half of it representing Ming's Throne Room, and the other half Dr. Zarkov's Laboratory. |

Flash is a great likeness of the character. His head sculpt puts most of the WGSH figures to shame. They went all out on this series. |

Ming the Merciless |

Ming is the villain of the series. He has a green suit that suffers from the same dye instability the Green Arrow suit has. Unfortunately, even carded figures often have discoloration to the fabric. |

Dale Arden |
|
|
|
 |
|
Dale Arden is one of the best female figures produced by Mego in terms of her sculpting and detailing. Interestingly, her boots are molded on to the figure; she's the only other figure made this way, apart from the Star Trek and Space 1999 figures. |
