Mego Central Presents
Robin Hood  Figures
The Super Merry Men
The Robin Hood   series was not a lucrative line for Mego. However, the Merry Men were   amongst the best designed Megos in terms of their head sculpts and   costumes. They've found much appreciation amongst adult collectors.   Contrary to popular belief, these were issued on both type I AND type II  bodies, the type II being less common. The line was titled "The Official   Super Merry Men" a bit goofy but you get the idea. Unfortunately, Maid  Marion and the Sheriff of Nottingham were never produced. The Merry Men  were sold in window boxes only.
Robin   Hood
Robin Hood gets my award for one of the best-drsessed Mego   figures.
Robin Hood comes equipped with a deadly bow (same as the   Green Arrow bow, very sleek quiver (same as the Speedy quiver), knife,    stylish hat and light green Robin Belt. His boots are sharp and unique as  well.
Will        Scarlett
Will   is a highly valued loose figure amongt Mego collectors, as he was produced    in small numbers. Like the other bow-wielding heroes, the accessories are   often lost. He has a great head sculpt which has often been pilfered by   customizers, making him even more rare.
Will  comes equipped with both a dagger and a sword; a bow and quiver; and a   black Robin belt with a sheath for the dagger and sword.
His        quiver is the same as Robin Hood's, as is his bow.
Little      John
Simple, but still a great figure, Little John has a pretty        basic outfit and is meagerly equipped with a staff and dagger.
Like        Robin Hood and Will Scarlet, he is fairly rare.
Friar        Tuck
Friar Tuck is the cutey of the line. He comes with a nice  robe, sandals, staff and belt with bag (wine  bottle).
